• Joint EC/EPoSS/ERTRAC Expert Workshop 2011 on EV Architectures
  Through this joint workshop on the electric vehicle, held on 30 June 2011 in Berlin, the European Commission and the European Technology Platforms EPoSS and ERTRAC discussed current R&D activities and future challenges for the integration of efficiency, safety, and comfort functionalities into the system of the vehicle. A focus was on smart concepts for the combination of energy storage systems, electric drives and brakes and power electronic controls which will enable radical cuts in weight, energy consumption and cost. Moreover, opportunities for reducing complexity and accelerating innovation by a fundamental revision of the electric and electronic architecture were addressed, and the related issues, e.g. in terms of standardization, networking or testing methods were considered.

  Documents for a workshop on "Electric Vehicle Batteries Made in Europe" organized by ICT4FEV.
• Joint Strategy and Networking Event 2010 "Thinking Ahead the PPP European Green Cars Initiative"
  The ICT4FEV project, the European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration (EPoSS) and VDI/VDE-IT on 10 September 2010 organized a joint event to facilitate the participation of interested stakeholders in the European Green Cars Initiative and particularly in the open calls. All presentations will be made available here as soon as authorization has been received from the speakers.
• 2nd Workshop on Research for the Fully Electric Vehicle
  On 11 June 2010 the European Commission's DG Infso held a "Second Workshop on Research for the Fully Electric Vehicle". A number of projects funded within the framework of the European Green Cars Initiative was presented, and information of current National programmes was exchanged.
